In the Indian Ocean, this upscale resort on a private island in the North Ari Atoll is 25 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport.

Airy villas are located on jetties or the beach and feature sitting areas, and terraces with plunge pools. All include free Wi-Fi, flat-screens, DVD players and iPod docks, plus minibars and tea and coffeemakers. Some have open-air bathing facilities, and upgraded villas add gardens.
